Police are searching for a man who allegedly shot up a trucking company after murdering his girlfriend early this morning.
The spree began around 12:25 a.m. on Wednesday, July 5th in Wendell, Massachusetts.
According to The Greenfield Recorder, Lewis H. Starkey III shot his girlfriend, Amanda Glover, 48, at her home on 179 West Street.
After about 1 hour, Starkey showed up at Specialized Trucking on Griffith Road in Chicopee, Massachusetts. Starkey entered the building and fired multiple shots before his gun malfunctioned.
After the gun stopped working, an employee took it and Starkey left the scene. Officials have since gotten possession of the gun.
One employee was injured by broken glass and shrapnel and was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
“There were three people inside the business and they were familiar with him,” Wilk said.
