Not many cars on the road can boast that they beat a Saleen Mustang in a race, let alone big rigs.
However Nicolas Gagnon’s Peterbilt Coga is a different story. This ain’t your ordinary Pete, with a 2500+ HP CAT C18 engine, it’s easily one of the most powerful trucks in the world.
Andre Gagnon and his son Nicolas currently run a successful business in Quebec. Aside from trucking, their company, Tronconnage Gagnon Inc., is involved in a combination of logging, road building, and millyard wood handling.
For fun, the Gagnons are active in big rig drag racing “show & shines,” beauty contests for custom trucks. Every year, their trucks can be seen on display and racing at the Rodeo du Camion, at which Nicolas won first place in 2010.
Gagnon senior doesn’t race but enjoys tricking out his rigs.
Check out the Petebilt Coga roar into action and unleashes all 2500+ of its ponies. This Mustang doesn’t even have a chance…
In case you were wondering, this is the same custom Peterbilt truck that also raced against a Chevrolet Corvette. Who knows what we’ll see next from this Big Rig rockstar.
