No one was seriously hurt Tuesday after a chain reaction crash led to a pile up of eight tractor trailers, shutting down the highway.

The accident happened at around 12:30 p.m. in Chino Valley, California.

According to KTLA 5 News, the semi truck were traveling along the 60 Freeway eastbound at Central Avenue when the crash occurred, damaging several semi trucks and sending one rig’s trailer through the cab of another semi truck, destroying it.

Miraculously, four of the people hurt in the crash were treated only for very minor injuries on scene, and another was transported to a nearby hospital, also with only minor injuries.

The exact reason for the serious crash is still under investigation, and traffic along the eastbound 60 Freeway was reduced to one lane for several hours as crews worked to clear the wreckage from the roadway. It has since been reopened and cleared.
