New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio announced on Wednesday that the city will completely phase out semi trucks by 2025 in an attempt to reduce traffic congestion.

The bustling city will instead rely on trains to deliver freight, which will then be loaded onto empty city buses and delivered to their destination.

The idea, which was proposed on April 1st 2015, is expected to be signed into law sometime after lunch. New York City is the largest city in America, with a population of over 8,400,000.
