A big rig slid of the road and got stuck in a snowy ditch. Looking for help to get his truck moving again, a nearby Amish farmer came to his aid.
The Amish farmer offered to use his horses, the driver skeptical at first, decided to give it a shot. And it worked.
Coincidentally, the driver got stuck two more times during the day. Unfortunately he didn’t have horses to help him out again.
So to answer the question, how much horsepower to pull a truck out of a ditch, the answer appears to be four.
Four horses, literally.
