Police arrested a truck driver Monday after receiving a tip that a young girl on the missing persons list may be inside his rig with him.
The incident happened on October 15th in London, Kentucky.
According to Detroit Free Press, police received a tip that the girl may be in a semi truck traveling through Lexington, Kentucky, so when a trooper noticed a semi truck driving along Interstate 75, south of London, Kentucky and just 1 and a half hours away from Lexington, he decided to pull the big rig over.
The officer then inspected the truck and found the 14-year-old unnamed girl inside the cab along with some marijuana.
57-year-old truck driver, Robert Phillips, was then taken into custody and charged with unlawful transaction with a minor and possession of marijuana.
Phillips is currently being held in the Laurel County Detention Center on $25,000 bond.
