Wake up 5 am, come home at 5 in the afternoon, clean his truck, and head back out. This way Lindsay Fox’s daily routine for years.
Now one of the richest men in the world with a net worth over 1 billion dollars, he came from very humble roots.
After falling in love with trucking while riding in his dad’s truck at an early age, Fox knew this is what he wanted to do with his life.
He dropped out of school and purchased his first truck, which he says was the hardest step to take.
Describing himself as a “uncomplicated, simple truck driver”, he grew his fleet from one to two, two to twenty, and now over has over 3,000 trucks around the world and a massive business empire.
His company, Linfox, ships primarily fast-moving consumer goods, food and beverages, and goods for the mining sector.
When asked what his hobbies are, his response: Driving a truck.
He say’s he learns by making mistakes and “celebrates” his mistakes.
