
A semi truck hauling medical waste overturned in Arizona on Monday, injuring the driver and closing a portion of the highway.
The accident happened in Tucson, Arizona at around 12:30 p.m. on April 9th.
According to Tucson News Now, the semi truck hauling medical waste was traveling along Interstate 10 near Orange Grove Road when, for unknown reasons, the truck driver lost control, overturning the truck in the middle of the roadway and spilling its load of medical waste, as well as separating the tractor from the trailer.

The truck driver was injured in the crash, but the extent of his injuries is not known.
A portion of I-10 was shut down for several hours as crews worked to clean up what officials described as “non-hazardous medical waste.” The roadway has since been reopened.
