
Westbound Interstate 20 was shut down in Texas Thursday after a semi truck overturned, blocking the roadway.
The accident happened in Harrison County, Texas at approximately 5:30 a.m. on July 12th, ripping open the trailer and strewing its contents across the highway, further blocking all lanes of traffic.

There have been no injuries reported but according to the Marshall Police, westbound I-20 is blocked beginning at mile marker 622 between the FM 31/Elysian Fields exit and the FM 2199 exit.
WB I20 traffic will be diverted at Ex 624/ FM 2199 until clean up is complete.

As crews work to clear the wreckage, traffic is being diverted onto FM 2199. As of 11:25 a.m., there was no estimated time or reopening, but officials say cleanup is supposed to last several more hours.
