You’ve probably seen photos of this mysterious truck floating around the internet. It’s been spotted cruising around Russia looking like it’s ready for battle with the words ‘Mad Max’ sprawled across the side.
No, it’s not a prop from the next generation Mad Max truck. Turns out, this custom tanker is the work of a Russian biker group, the Night Wolves.
The Night Wolves are a 5,000 member strong biker gang, described as the Hell’s Angels of Russia. Russian President Vladimir Putin is said to have close ties with the group. Nobody knows what it’s transporting, or even if it’s hauling anything at all. It could just be driving around looking cool for the hell of it, sort of a mascot for the group.
