Love’s has announced the opening of both a new travel stop in Virginia and a new hotel in Kansas, further expanding its network of driver amenities.
The Virginia travel stop and the Kansas hotel were opened in late February and can be found in Prince George, Virginia, and Chanute, Kansas, respectively.
The new travel stop is located at 7200 Country Drive, at the intersection of US Highway 450 and Prince George Road and has brought more than 60 new jobs to the area. The stop features 73 truck parking spaces, five showers, laundry, Love’s Tire Care, and an Arby’s restaurant.
“Prince George is situated only 30 miles from Richmond, Virginia,” said Tom Love, founder and executive chairman of Love’s in a press release.
“The proximity to the Richmond metro makes Prince George perfect for both professional and local drivers. We’re excited to continue to serve our Customers throughout Virginia,” he continued.
The newly opened hotel is part of the Love’s Hospitality franchise and is a Holiday Inn Express & Suites located at 3401 N. Blue Comet Drive, at the intersection of U.S. Highway 169 and 35th Street. It is situated adjacent to the Chanute Love’s Travel stop and is minutes from several local attractions. The hotel features a heated indoor pool, 24 hour fitness and laundry, a luxury outdoor covered patio, a 24 hour business center, and free high speed internet access, as well as a complimentary breakfast with your stay.
“With its great location along U.S. Highway 169, the new hotel will conveniently serve leisure and business travelers coming to the area,” said Director of Love’s Hospitality Jim Wheeler, in a second press release.
“We look forward to being the hotel of choice for travelers visiting Chanute.”
