Chris Fiffie of bigrigvideos.com recently caught up with the operator of this sweet 2004 Peterbilt 379 that you may have seen at this year’s Mid America Trucking Show.
This custom Pete is owned by Larry Wheeler & Sons and is running a C-15 Caterpillar with 550 horsepower. The rig was originally purchased with 60,000 miles, and customized into this show quality truck. The rig is dressed up with a custom grill, visor, stacks, and more by Trux Accessories in Quebec.
Just because it’s a beautiful toy, doesn’t mean it doesn’t see the road. They’ve put close to 70,000 miles on it in less than a year, most of the time pulling a diesel fuel tanker locally in Chicago.
