Here’s One Driver’s First Hand View Of What It Was Like In The Middle Of The I-80 Pileup

While the two massive I-80 semi truck pileups that occurred in the last week received a lot of media attention, for most of us it was a tragedy that we viewed from afar.

One driver managed to capture exactly what it was like to be right in the middle of things as it unfolded. YouTuber romantico romantic uploaded this clip that was taken in the middle of the carnage.

After being caught in the pileup, the driver’s dash cam captures several more semi trucks joining the wreck. He makes an emergency dash out his rig can calls for his co-driver to escape.

“Get out Joseph!” he can be heard yelling on the footage.

It’s truly a gripping moment that helps you understand that absolute mayhem that was going on.

Thankfully these two drivers were able to make it out unharmed.
