A man was arrested after allegedly aiming a gun at a trucker in Missouri on Wednesday.

The incident happened on October 17th at around 3:00 p.m. in Platte County, Missouri.

According to Fox 4 KC News, a semi truck was traveling along Interstate 29 north of Platte City when a motorist pulled up alongside the rig wielding a gun. No shots were fired and the motorist then drove away but police were called and were able to locate the motorist at Highway 92 and Kentucky Avenue.

Officers then searched the vehicle and discovered two pistols, to assault rifles, ammunition, body armor, and a Ghillie suit. The unnamed motorist was then taken into custody.

It is not clear why exactly the motorist threatened the trucker with a weapon but the incident is still under investigation. Officers do not believe that the two drivers knew each other and say that they are getting the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms involved in the case.
