A series of Facebook posts from a Sheriff’s office in Georgia, warning drivers about inclement weather conditions, recently went viral, in part due to the hilarious wording of the posts.
The posts were written by the Oconee County Georgia Sheriff’s Office, when a winter storm led to treacherous driving conditions.
The virality of the posts surely kept a few off the roads that didn’t need to be there.
Even after the inclement weather subsided, the sheriff’s office (or the person who handles their social media account) kept the great posts coming.
Like this post in response to the many users who let them know their message was going viral.
And this one letting residents know that local school would be reopening.
Keeping drivers off the roads in bad conditions plus giving followers a laugh? Well done, Oconee County Sheriff’s Office.
