A giant mess was left strewn across a highway in Colorado Wedensday after a semi truck hauling dry wall struck a bridge.
The accident happened on October 17th at around 4:00 a.m. in Adams County, Colorado.
According to Fox 31 Denver, the semi truck was traveling along E-470 at East 64th Avenue south of Pena Boulevard when, for unknown reasons, the big rig went off the road and onto the median, crashing into a pillar of the bridge.
The force of the impact ruptured the trailer, spilling its load of drywall and turning the material into a messy powder strewn across the roadway, as well as sparking a fire in the cab of the truck.
Two people were injured in the incident but their identities, as well as their current health conditions, have not been released.
The bridge has since been inspected and deemed structurally sound but the southbound lanes of E-470 were shut down at 64th Avenue until around noon.
