A truck driver was taken to the hospital in stable condition Sunday after driving off one exit ramp and plummeting down onto another.
The accident happened on the morning of October 21st in Bloomington, Minnesota.
According to Twin Cities Pioneer Press, the semi truck was exiting northbound Highway 169 and entering eastbound Interstate 494 when it suddenly went off road, crashing through a guardrail and landing on the ramp from Marth Road to Washington Avenue.
Miraculously, the unnamed driver’s injuries were not life-threatening and he was last listed in “noncritical” condition.
The incident forced the closure of the Marth Road to Washington Avenue ramp as crews worked to clear the wreck, but the roadway was reopened by 2:00 p.m.
