A shocking dash cam video of a Lowe’s truck overturning in an intersection and striking another vehicle was shared online recently.
The accident, posted to Youtube by Raistlin Orr, happened on July 24th at approximately 9:15 a.m. in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.
The dash cammer was stopped at a red light at the Highway 74 and Kings Highway intersection when the accident occurred, according to the Southeast Missourian.
The footage shows the Lowe’s truck driving through the intersection on a red light when, suddenly, a sedan with a green light collides with the out-of-control truck.
The force of the impact caused the truck to lose control and overturn, landing on another vehicle and narrowly missing the recording driver.
The man recording then runs out to check on the condition of the truck driver while others try to peer inside the cab.
“Driver of red car and driver of truck taken to the hospital. Injuries didn’t appear to be severe,” wrote Orr in the video description.
“This is what happens when red lights are ran,” Orr added.
