This footage, captured on a truck driver’s dash cam, shows the drastic consequences of impatient and reckless driving around a semi truck.
It was uploaded by YouTube user David Hebert. The video was filmed by a fellow truck driver who was traveling right behind the incident when it happened.
In the clip, a tractor trailer is seen traveling on the right lane of the highway, when a car suddenly cuts in front of it using a merging lane that was coming to an end.
An SUV who witnessed the dangerous pass then attempts the same maneuver — but is too late. Without enough room to pass the semi, the SUV instead gets wedged between the truck and a wall.
Absolutely brilliant (/sarcasm).
Coincidentally, the trucker filming and the trucker involved in the crash were talking over the CB while it all went down.
The lesson (for motorists)? Don’t try this around semi trucks or walls, or worse — both.
