Sitting in traffic is a daily occurrence for many, but fiery airplane explosions are not.
Youtube user Simon Li uploaded a dash cam video that captured a fiery moment on film around 5:30 pm on Tuesday, May 2nd in Mukilteo, Washington.
Imagine the surprise of the motorists waiting at the stop light when a small plane flies into view, dangerously near to the ground.
The plane drops into frame and clips an electricity pole, sending sparks into the air. The plane continues to lose altitude and hits the stoplight pole, igniting the fire. The explosion builds as the plane falls, eventually crashing into the earth.

Cars waiting at the light begin to break rank and pull to the shoulder or turn around, and pedestrians can be seen running towards the accidental inferno.
Thankfully, the pilot of the small plane was able to maneuver the crashing plane onto an empty street, only hitting a few parked cars and injuring no one.
Both the pilot and the passenger of the plane walked away from the incident unhurt, though probably a little shaken up!
