The Mack Model AB was first put into production in 1914 with over 50,000 produced. They were sometimes nicknamed the “Baby Mack” as they were the smaller version of the heavy duty model AC.
Most of the Model AB’s were used in the delivery business.
Am amazing look back — especially considering these models, mixed with 20th century American innovation, ultimately lead to the beasts we know of today. (below)
In the video below, YouTube user Tyler Wiggers displays his fully restored 1930’s Mack model AB. This amazingly produced, high quality video shows exactly what you would have gotten straight out of the Mack factory back in the early 30s.
