A major collision between a semi truck and a box truck shut down a highway in Florida on Thursday.

The accident occurred on August 2nd in Apopka, Florida.

According to The Apopka Voice, the box truck hauling vitamins and health bars collided with the semi truck hauling rocks along Kelly Park Road at State Road 429, overturning the semi truck and ejecting the driver of the box truck out onto the roadway.

The exact reason or the crash is not clear, but a witness said that the driver of the box truck appeared to be in bad shape when paramedics arrived, but the semi truck driver seemed to suffer only from minor injuries.

The trucker’s identities and current health conditions are not known, but Kelly Park Road at S.R. 429 has been shut down as crews work to clear the wrecked rigs and spilled rocks. 429 remains completely open but the access and exits to Kelly Road have been closed.

As of 2:15 p.m. there was no estimated time of reopening.
