A bomb squad was called to the O’Hare airport in Chicago on Friday morning after officials discovered an abandoned semi truck in an unauthorized area.
It happened on August 17th at approximately 3:50 a.m. outside of Terminal 3.
According to CBS Chicago, the truck was parked outside of Terminal 3, an area that does not authorize semi truck parking, with no sign of a driver. Due to the nature of airport security, a bomb squad was called in to help airport officials investigate the abandoned semi truck.

The driver was located at approximately 8 a.m. and will be taken in for questioning about the incident. An FBI spokesman said that the driver may have suffered a medical emergency, leading him to park in an unauthorized area.
Normal operations at the O’Hare airport will not be affected by this incident according to police.
The incident is still under investigation.
