As the 2016 Presidential race begins to heat up, an unexpected candidate has thrown his name into the discussion. Not just unexpected, but unheard of, as well.

In an interview with Overdrive Magazine, the owner-operator explained that he was tired of high-profile elections being “all about the money”, and wants to place the attention back on the common folk.
In this post from his Facebook page, he lays out 26 changes he’d make in the trucking industry if he were commander-in-chief.

What are his chances of being elected? Probably close to none, but if he’s able to attract some attention to the issues that concern truck drivers in America, then it’s all worth it.
Raffone, who’s running as a democrat, says he has no campaigning budget and is relying on word-of-mouth and social media in order to get his name and message out there.
