A real estate investor got a hell of a deal when he purchased a 4,500 square foot mansion in North Dakota for only $70,000. The reason for the steep discount? The home was built over a plot of land that the town designation to be used a flood diversion zone.
The investor was forced to move the home across town in order for the flood zone to be built, so he decided to do what anyone would do: find a semi truck to get the job done.
Obviously the move took a significant amount of preparation and planning, but the home was finally moved across town on a 23-axle truck. Now that the home is in place, the owner plans to list it for $700,000.
We all know the saying if you bought it, a truck brought it. This may be the biggest “it”.
