A semi truck that got stuck at a beach in California was pulled to dry land by a beach-goer with a heavily modified Ford F-250 pickup earlier this month.
It happened at the Oceano Dunes State Vehicular Recreational Area in Oceano, California, back on March 4th.
According to the Miami Herald, the truck driver was lost and ended up on the sandy beach after taking a wrong turn, then got stuck while trying to turn the rig around.
Luckily, one man who was enjoying a day at the beach witnessed the incident and had just the right vehicle to get the truck out of the sand — a heavily modified 1994 Ford F250 truck called “Big Nasty.”
The truck’s owner, Santa Margarita-native Brian Reaume, says every time he comes to the beach he ends up pulling large vehicles (mostly RVs) out of the sand. “Never fails, every time I take my trucks out there, I end up pulling many people out,” he said.
Reaume, who owns a local repair shop called Onsite Diesel Repair, successfully pulled the large truck out the sand, allowing the driver to continue his trip with minimal delays.
An onlooker captured this footage of the incident.
