In the YouTube video posted today by MSNBC, News reporter Jacob Soboroff talks politics with truckers along Interstate 80, a major highway that runs between Ohio and Pennsylvania.

This reporter’s destination is the Truck World truck stop at the I-80 corridor in Hubbard, Ohio.

Soboroff begins his trip at the truck stop as he states:

Very few roads are as important to the 2016 election than this one because it runs through the swing states of Ohio and Pennsylvania, and nobody knows this area better than these truckers.

The reporter approaches various truckers and asks their opinions about who they plan to vote for in the upcoming election.

Soboroff first asked a lady trucker standing by her big rig.

When asked if she would vote for Donald Trump, the woman responded that:

“He has a lot to prove between now and then.”

The reporter moved on to ask the next trucker at the scene.

When asked his opinion by the interviewer, this trucker claimed that:

“Trump is the lesser of two evils.”

When the reporter commented that the president could be “she” rather than “he,” the same trucker quickly retorted:

“not she.”

Finally, a third truck driver was interviewed.

Without hesitating, he stated:

“I’m voting for Trump!” and “I think it’s really gonna surprise a lot of people.”

The video closes as this final trucker takes the reporter for a ride in his truck.

Regarding presidential voting preference for Trump in the area, this trucker states that:

“It all boils down to jobs. I have made a lot of money in Ohio in my 28-29 years of trucking…but there are a lot of places that are no more…lots of factories that have just closed up and left.”

Overall, it seems the population in this area are dead-set Trump supporters, and their votes could mean the difference of the final election results.
