A truck driver was arrested Saturday after fleeing the scene of an accident in front of a Florida McDonald’s.

The incident occurred on September 22nd at around 9:38 p.m. in Marianna, Florida.

According to WJHG News, motorist Lacinta Davis was crossing Lafayette Street in order to get onto Milton Avenue from the McDonald’s when she struck a white Ford traveling east on Lafayette street. The force of the impact sent the ford spinning into the westbound lanes of Lafayette Street, where it was struck by an oncoming semi truck driven by Cierra Noble.

Noble then kept on driving, leaving the driver of the pickup to be extricated from their wrecked vehicle by rescue personnel, though they were not injured.

Davis and her passenger were transported to a nearby hospital with injuries, but their current health condition is not clear.

A Marianna police officer later spotted the semi truck on Highway 73 south of US 231 and placed Noble under arrest. She is currently being held in the Jackson County Correctional Facility and is facing charges of leaving the scene of a crash with serious bodily injury.
