Police say that a truck driver was under the influence when he crashed his truck in a wreck that killed his fiancé.
The accident occurred on Monday, September 3rd at around 6:30 p.m. in Hubbard, Ohio.
According to WFMJ News, 46-year-old truck driver Ademayowa A. Saint was heading towards Pennsylvania on Interstate 80 when he suddenly lost control of his truck, sending it veering off road and into a ditch where it struck several trees before jackknifing.

Police say that the force of the impact killed a woman resting in the sleeper berth of the big rig who they believe was Saint’s fiancé, but that Saint was not injured in the wreck.
Upon investigation, officers determined that Saint was under the influence of alcohol and drugs at the time of the crash and he was arrested and taken to Trumbull County Jail on counts of vehicular homicide, possession of marijuana, open container, and operating a commercial vehicle while under the influence.
As of Tuesday morning, his bond was set at $50,000 and the Ohio State highway Patrol Warren Post is asking anyone who witnessed the crash to contact them at 330-898-2311.
