A wreck involving at least two semi trucks and two pickup trucks killed one person on Monday morning.

The accident happened on Monday at approximately 11:30 a.m. at Interstate 35E and Royal Lane in northwest Dallas, Texas.

According to CBS DFW, all vehicles were heading south on I-35E when the wreck occurred.

One semi truck flipped onto its side and had its cab crushed by another tractor trailer.

A white pickup truck also rolled onto its side and a black pickup truck appears to have spun off the road after striking one of the other wrecked vehicles.

Diesel fuel was spilled across the roadway as a result of the crash.

One person was killed and at least two people were injured in the accident.

Hazmat crews spent several hours cleaning up the mess, shutting down Southbound I-35 to 635 and the ramp from Westbound 635 to I-35 for hours.

The names of the drivers, as well as the cause of the crash, are not yet known.
