A truck driver recently shared this footage online, showing a confrontational traffic stop in Georgia.
In the clip, the driver receives a citation for allegedly traveling at 75 mph in a 70 mph zone and bypassing a weigh station. The driver, however, says the scales were closed when he drove by and denies traveling over the speed limit.
During the encounter, the driver and officers argue on several points, with the law enforcement officers ultimately threatening to arrest the driver. The driver, YouTube user longhorn556ify, posted this description with the video:
Taken this morning in Georgia scales were closed and I was going up a hill when pulled over with a full load of cows so there is no way I was doing 75!!!! Scales were closed and I got pre pass that flashed green. The cop refused to call a supervisor the other cops that showed up were not supervisors. ALSO I DID NOT GET TO RECORD THE FIRST PAER WHEN HE REFUSED TGE SUPERVISOR AND WAS VERY RUDE AND HATEFUL. HE DID NOT GET “NICE” until the others showed up and the video started
