Dramatic footage of a firetruck falling into a crumbling California highway has gone viral.
The incident happened on Friday, February 17th, on Interstate 15 in San Bernardino County. The firetruck was responding to heavy flooding in the area, but got stuck on the edge of a sinkhole on southbound Interstate 15.
The road eventually collapsed further, causing the truck to plunge into the hole.
The firefighters were able to escape the vehicle before the drop. Officials say poor road conditions and heavy flooding caused the road to collapse.
