
Two people were killed after an 84-year-old dump truck driver drove into the path of an oncoming tractor trailer early Monday morning.
It happened on Highway 75 in St. Norbert, Manitoba, Canada, at approximately 7:40 a.m.
Investigators say that the dump truck was traveling north on Highway 75 and tried to make a turn onto Highway 247, but slammed into the oncoming tractor trailer.
According to CBC, the 84-year-old dump truck driver was thrown from the vehicle upon impact. Both the 58-year-old semi truck driver and the dump truck driver were pronounced dead at the scene.
Neither driver was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.

Alcohol is not thought to have been involved in the crash. An investigation is currently underway.
The names of the drivers have not been released.
