Kyle Dunkle of Dunkle Trucking owns a 1979 Peterbilt 359 that was rebuilt from the ground up with a Detroit Diesel 12v71TT Engine and over 1,000 horsepower.

Dunkle took his custom Pete down to the Maryland International Raceway where he stole the show. He talks about the difference in racing a car, versus a truck:

“Anyone can make a 4,000 pound car go, but to make a 17,000 pound truck go is a different story. “

When he matches up against a Mustang in a drag race, he shows the true meaning of American muscle — and it’s a thing of beauty.
