We all experience road rage and we all handle it differently.
Some of us yell, some of honk, some of us go bird watching, and then maybe some of us will whip out a pistol and shoot someone.
Maybe that last part isn’t too common but it’s definitely Christopher Williams’ go-to solution.
Three big rig truck drivers were driving down Highway 59 when a white Chevrolet (Williams) was speeding up and slowing down ahead of them, preventing them from passing. The truckers then say they saw Williams waving his gun around and firing.
The lead driver, Daniel Swan of Southland Express, radioed his buddies to warn them about the insanity. They then got the license plate number and called 911.
“The pickup truck exited the freeway went down to the bottom of the ramp. It run a red light, come back out on the freeway on the right hand side of me, passed me up throwed his left hand out the window, flipped me the bird and turned around with a pistol in right hand and shot into my truck,” said Daniel Swan.
Deputies finally caught up with the 3 trucks and they stopped near Splendora. As reports were being filed and transmissions being looked at, Williams drove by them and deputies were able to catch him.
Williams was taken to Montgomery County Jail and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Speaking of deadly weapons, Williams had enough guns in his car to fight off a platoon.
Officers found several weapons, and plenty of ammunition in his pickup truck.
