15 years ago, American Truck Historical Society member, Jim Dobbas, showed off an old ’52 Kenworth cabover which has seen very little change during its many years of service.
The truck was bought by Dover Ranch 9 years prior to the filming of this video. The only changes it has seen is a new paint job and added links.
The body and engine were in prestige condition. It originally came with 300 Cummins, but a 335 was installed in the 60’s and it’s still there today.
The interior saw little change. The only thing they replaced was the floor in the truck and a trailer.
It’s good to see an old horse still doing its job. This Kenworth has been hauling cattle for over 60 years, a little piece of history that’s still going strong.
