When 17 year old, Kyle Winner, was lost in the middle of an unfamiliar town he turned to someone that he looks up to — a truck driver. The son of a 30 year trucker himself, he’s always had a love for big trucks and respect for those who drive them.
After getting lost, he asked for directions on the CB radio and not only did a truck driver come to his aid with an answer, but escorted him to his location — saving him from being stuck in traffic and helping him find his way. He captured the event on video and shared it as a tribute to the professionalism and kindness of truck drivers, which is something that the media doesn’t usually highlight.
In his message to Livetrucking.com, Kyle ends with “I want people to know how truly important they are.”
It’s great to see people out there that know and appreciate the importance of truck drivers, not just for delivering freight, but for making the road a better, friendlier place, for everyone on it.
Thanks for sharing Kyle, and thank you to the driver that showed true professionalism in helping out a motorist in need.
