A tractor trailer was robbed of $14000 worth of Nike shoes last week after being parked for a tire repair.

It happened in Southeast Shelby County outside of Memphis, Tennessee at CEVA Logistics.

According to News Channel 3, the driver of the truck parked the tractor trailer at CEVA Logistics for two days to allow for a tire repair, but when he returned he noticed that the rig had been broken into.

The thief cut a hole in the property fence, cut the trailer’s lock, and took off with the more than $14,000 worth of Nike shoes.

“In Memphis, they know what trailers got what in them,” says local veteran trucker Ned Hunter after being interviewed by local Channel 3 news.

“If you know what’s in the trailer, then you should get on to where you got to go to, get out of Memphis,” cautioned Hunter.

Anyone with information regarding the incident is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 901-528-CASH.
