Demethanizer towers are used to separate methane gas from liquids in the refining process. This one took 44 weeks to build and more than 100 employees. It’s 427 ft long and weighs about 1.1 million pounds!

The tower was transported from Broken Arrow Oklahoma to Fort Lupton Colorado on October 20th, 2014.
