Interstate 80 between Rawlins and Laramie has been closed by the Wyoming Department of Transportation, in both directions, due to winter-like weather.

WyDOT posted the following tweet at 10:29 AM, on Sunday morning.

The area was hit with snow, leading to slippery roads, icy conditions, and low visibility. On Saturday, there was a fatal accident on the roadway.

The closure between Rawlins and Laramie stretches approximately 100 miles. According to WYO Roads, the estimated opening time is between 03:00 pm and 05:00 pm on Sunday.
