
Interstate 80 over Donner Pass in Nevada County, California, has been closed in both direction on Tuesday due to zero visibility.
Vehicles have been stuck on the closed highway for hours as officials wait for conditions to improve.

At 5:06 p.m.(PST), CALTRANS announced that visibility was improving, but the Interstate will remain closed for snow and ice removal. An estimated opening time has not been announced.
