
A UPS semi truck overturned early Wednesday morning in Pleasanton, California, temporarily shutting down a highway on-ramp.
It happen on the Hacienda onramp to eastbound Interstate 580, around 1 a.m.
“He was eating some food and said he was having some problems eating the food and it caused him to drift off the right shoulder. Hit a light pole, the light pole fell into the roadway on the ramp from Hacienda on ramp to eastbound 580 and then his truck subsequently rolled on to its side,” CHP officer Eric Aguilar said.
According to Fox-2, the driver of the truck said he lost consciousnesses while eating pretzels, but was able to crawl out the truck after the crash.

The on-ramp was temporarily closed after the incident, but has since reopened. No one was seriously injured.
