A man and woman were found dead inside at tractor trailer early Wednesday morning near the Cuyahoga River in Cleveland, Ohio.
According to Cleveland.com, a man who worked in the area noticed that the truck had been parked in the same spot for over a week, at E. 9th Street and Canal Rd. On Wednesday morning, he decided to take a glimpse inside the cab of the truck and discovered the body of two people.
They were identified as 56-year-old Jonathan Taylor and 63-year-old Sylvia Dority. Taylor was laying face down on the floor of the cab, and Dority was discovered in the cab’s sleeper berth. The two were reported missing earlier in the week.
Drug paraphernalia was found inside the truck, but police noted that drug use “may not be the cause.”
It’s unclear how, or when, the two died.
An autopsy to determine the cause of death will be performed on Thursday.
