A semi truck overturned in Wildwood, Florida on a State Road 44 after the driver swerved to avoid a car that made a sudden u-turn in front of him. Unfortunately, that was only the beginning of the mess.
A Waste Management truck saw the overturned semi on the road and stopped with it’s headlights pointing towards the semi to help approaching drivers notice the overturned truck on the dark, wet, road.
Apparently, the trucks effort to illuminate the site of the accident were in vain, as two cars plowed straight into the flipped truck shortly afterwards. According to police reports, they were driving “too fast for conditions.”
All three drivers were taken to Leesburg Regional Medical center with minor injuries.
