Firefighters in Opa-locka, Florida, battled a massive blaze that resulted from several tractor trailers that exploded on the lot.

It happened outside the American Fruit & Produce warehouse on Northwest 42nd avenue just before 5:00 p.m. on Monday.

According to Local-10 news, the fire began when “at least a dozen tractor trailers exploded” outside the warehouse. The fire quickly spread to the building and up to 20 additional vehicles.

“We heard a big explosion. It sounded like gas tanks or something and it started catching fire pretty quick. We had to close down, put all the cars in because the flames were unbearable,” one witness told reporters.

Miami-Dade firefighters battled the flames for an hour before they were able to completely extinguish the fire.

The incident remains under investigation. No injuries were reported.
