Bray Fast Freight, an Arkansas trucking company, is suing after a man committed suicide by driving into one of their trucks.

Justin Suckla died on the scene after driving his ATV into traffic on State Highway 491 in Colorado, colliding with one of Bray Fast’s trucks. They are now suing his insurance company, as well as his father and widow for a sum of $450,000 due to the financial impact of having the truck out of service as it was being repaired.

Suckla’s insurance company, Liberty Mutual, initially payed $28,000 to the company for repairs of the truck, but the company is seeking financial damages that were caused due to the the truck being inoperable for three months. The suit claims that as the vehicle was undergoing repairs, they were unable to fill certain customer orders or take on new customers.

Brey Fast’s fleet consists of only 5 trucks, including the truck that was involved in the accident, and has only been in business for 3 years.
