A Pro-Trump organization called Truckers for Trump said they plan on protesting at the Republican National Convention in Cleveland , if the Presidential nomination is “stolen” from Trump in a backroom deal.

If Trump falls short of the required 1,237 delegates needed to win the nomination, then delegates may vote on a new candidate in a contested convention. Trump supporters fear that this will allow for a backroom deal, where the nomination is taken from Trump and handed to another candidate.

According to Reuters, the 4,000 member Truckers for Trump group said they plan on driving more than 1,000 big rigs to the convention in Mid-July, if such a deal takes place.

The group says they are not seeking confrontation, but will rally to show their support for the candidate.
