A truck driver walked away unharmed after crashing a tractor trailer into a South Carolina business early Monday morning.
Witnesses say the driver of the truck ran a stoplight before plowing into the Huddle House restaurant off Highway 52 in Moncks Corner, South Carolina.
“It was the scariest thing to ever happen in my life,” said one employee, who was inside the building at the time of the crash. “It went straight through the building and all the way to the back, toward the other business.”

According to local WSCS-TV news, the driver told first responders “he didn’t remember what happened.”
Monks Corner police say the driver, Arthur Hacker of Summerville, S.C., was traveling too fast for conditions and lost control while making a turn.
The truck belongs to Tennessee-based Covenant Transport. They have not commented on the incident.
The owner of the store, George Kurien, says it’s a blessing that nobody was hurt.
“It’s a shock. I’m just glad the employees are safe. There was no customers (inside). That’s the blessing. I’m glad. The building can be replaced. I’m glad no lives are lost. It is the grace of god. I’m glad that god has given us this privilege of being on earth. Today is a great day. I rejoice in what happened. We’ll rebuild and I’m going to place my employees at my other stores and we’ll go from there,” Kurien said.
Hacker was cited for careless operation.
