In Fort Worth, Texas, a rock hauler was left toppling over a bridge after swerving to avoid a collision.

On Monday around noon, an accident between two car occurred on Northwest Loop 820 near the Old Decatur Road exit.

As the truck driver approached the scene of the wreckage, he swerved in order to avoid a collision. The driver lost control of his vehicle and went flying off the bridge.

Star-telegram reported that the truck driver, around 40 years old, was rescued out of his cab as it was partially dangling off of the bridge.

The driver was taken to the hospital with serious injuries. No one else was injured.

By 3 p.m. on Monday, crews were still working to remove the truck from the bridge. The inside westbound lane was closed during the afternoon.

Roads have since reopened.
