
A truck driver was killed after being crushed by a 2,500 pound pipe he was hauling on Monday afternoon.
The incident happened around 2:30 p.m., at a construction site in Minnetonka, Minnesota.
According to reports, 38-year-old Missouri-based truck driver David Hyde had just delivered the load to a construction site on U.S. Highway 169 in Minnetonka and was helping workers unload the pipes when one of them fell on top on him. He died at the scene of the accident.
OSHA will be performing an investigation at the construction site.
Confirmation now, that the truck driver in the 169 construction accident has died.
